Psychotherapy

Traditional psychotherapy is used for patients in need of traditional talk therapy to cope and adapt with everything that life brings. This approach includes psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive and other well-known approaches used today in mental health.

Non-traditional therapies tap into various levels of mind-body- spirit healing. They have a strong spiritual component, incorporating elements of transpersonal psychology, mental health nutrition and other traditions of healing.

Evaluations

A psychosocial evaluation will allow to assess individual's mental health and social well-being by looking into one's perception of self and ability to function in the community.

Child Custody Evaluation

Parenting Time Assessment

BioPsychoSexual Evaluation

General Functioning Assessment

Psychiatric Evaluation (with collaborating MD)

Mental Fitness Assessment (various permits)

Integrative Wellness

Non-traditional therapies tap into various levels of mind-body- spirit healing. They have a strong spiritual component, incorporating elements of transpersonal psychology, energy medicine, nutritional wellness and other traditions of healing.

Substance Abuse

Addiction is a complex but treatable disease that affects brain function and behavior. No single treatment is right for everyone and the most effective treatment addresses all of the patient’s needs, not just their substance use and while behavioral therapies are the most commonly used forms of treatment our holistic approach adds more support to those in recovery. Medications are often an important part of treatment, especially when combined with behavioral therapies and that is why we are working in collaboration with treating medical practitioners.

Collaborative Services

We are working with collaboration with other treating professionals such as medical doctors, functional medicine practitioners, chiropractors, healers and all other treating professionals for the best healing experience.

Meet Our Practitioners

Margo E. Rappaport, MSW, LCSW, Doctoral Candidate

Clinical Director and Nutritional Therapist

I bring my own unique combination of professional training, personal skills, and life experience to doing therapy.  I grew up in Latvia, EU but spent the last 20 years in US.
I received my BS in Psychology and Social Work from University of Latvia, followed up with a MSW in Social Work from Rutgers University, and currently earning a PhD in General  Psychology from Capella University. For over a decade I've been in private practice.
My therapeutic “style” combines a real-world mindset, along with strong theoretical and practical background, compassion, imagination and a sense of humor.  I use traditional methods of psychotherapy along with non-traditional therapies of holistic and integrative healing modalities to create a fuller integration between the mind, body and spirit, and to accomplish the deepest level of change, healing and transformation possible.
